Exploring Sukabumi-The largest Regency in West Java

Sukabumi Regency is located in the southwestern part of West Java, Indonesia. It is the second-largest regency in Java and the largest regency in West Java.

Sukabumi Regency is also the origin of Sukabumi Stone(Bali stone)-A natural stone with a unique green color commonly used to decorate swimming pools and bathrooms in Indonesia also other places around the World.

Ciakso Waterfall

As a major tourist attraction in Sukabumi Regency,the height is around 80 meters and consists with three parallel waterfall drops.The watefall is surrounded by forest and there is a beautiful pool formed by natural boulders at the foot of the waterfall.

Karang Hawu Beach

One of the southern beaches In Sukabumi Regency with huge waves .People mentioned that the rocks with coral can be seen beside the beach,and they appreciated the beautiful views with blue sky and water there.

Pelabuhan Ratu Beach

It is located in Pelanbuhan Ratu of Sukabumi Regency with stunning coastal scenery. Each year, local people celebrate the Ocean Fiesta Festival on 5th April near the beach with cultural activities.

Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge

The bridge is located in Situ Gunung Tourist Park. It is the longest suspension bridge in South-East Asia with 243 meters in length. People can enjoy immersive experience with nature on the bridge.

Small tip:

For traveling and exploring Sukabumi Regency, the best time is from May to September during the dry season as the weather is more friendly for outdoor activities.
