Jisoo BLACKPINK surprised fans by releasing a concept photo for one of her songs, “TEARS” on February 5, 2025 on her Instagram account @sooyaaa__.

This song is part of her latest mini album titled “AMORTAGE”, which is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2025.

In the concept photo ‘TEARS”, Jisoo is seen wearing an edgy outfit with a futuristic touch, creating a mysterious elegant impression. This appearance managed to attract fans’ attention because it showed a new side of Jisoo that was more mature compared to her solo debut era.

The album “AMORTAGE” will contain four songs, with “EARTHQUAKE” as the main song. Then, Your Love, Tears, Hugs & Kisses. From the other teaser photos that have been shared, the concept seems to depict strong emotions, dark elegance, and cinematic nuances.

Not only that, Jisoo also shared details about the creative process behind this album. She acted as a co-writer on all four songs produced by Blissoo and The Wavys. This album is called a “love montage”, reflecting various emotional aspects in a person’s love journey.

AMORTAGE is Jisoo’s first solo comeback in 2025, after the huge success of her debut album “ME” and the title track “FLOWER” in March 2023.
