Playboi Carti Announces Release Date for I AM MUSIC Album
After a long and eagerly anticipated wait, Playboi Carti has finally announced the release date for his upcoming album, I AM MUSIC. The artist revealed the news on his Instagram, confirming that the highly awaited project will drop this Friday, March 14. Over the past few months,
Carti has been actively promoting the album. He first previewed it at Rolling Loud Miami in December of last year and has since put up billboards to build hype for the release. Earlier this week, he also confirmed that the album is complete and ready for release.
I AM MUSIC is expected to feature no guest artists but will likely include production contributions from heavyweights like Ye (formerly Kanye West), Travis Scott, Mike Dean, and Metro Boomin, among others. This album marks Carti’s first full-length project in five years, following his critically acclaimed and chart-topping album Whole Lotta Red, which was released in 2020.
